Annie Rendon CCC-SLP, Owner/Lead Therapist is the owner and lead therapist of Express Communication Therapy.
Annie grew up in Barranquilla Colombia speaking only Spanish and completed her bachelor's degree in Barranquilla Colombia. She received her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at Long Island University in 2009 and has experience working in public schools, preschools and in the home setting.
She speaks Spanish to her own child. Annie specializes in bilingual development and holds a bilingual extension certificate. She enjoys working with children with developmental and language delays; speech and children on the autism spectrum.
Mary Lynn Hastings, M.A, CCC-SLP is a bilingual (English and Spanish) speech/language pathologist.
She was born in Durham, North Carolina, and returned to North Carolina. She grew up in Houston, Texas, where she completed a bachelor of arts degree in Communication Disorders. Later, she completed her Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas in Austin in 1995. Since completing her master's program, she has worked in school and private practice settings, and most recently within homes and daycares. When Mary Lynn worked within the public school setting in Texas, she served on many bilingual interprofessional district evaluation teams conducting bilingual evaluations for children ages 3 years through high school.
She has had the opportunity to work with children with a variety of speech and addressed language impairments, including children with autism spectrum disorder. Mary Lynn has supervised both undergraduate and graduate school clinicians, as well as serving as a clinical fellowship mentor. In addition to clinical supervision of bilingual therapists, Mary Lynn has also provided training for other professionals and impairments in the area of bilingual speech and language impairments.
Gabriel Keogan, MS, CCC-SLP, received his Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Brigham Young University in 2007 and completed his Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at California State University East Bay in 2009.
Being passionate about working within the local bilingual community, he practiced in a Spanish-English bilingual position in Concord, CA in a school with a student body that was over 85% Hispanic/Latino. Gabriel moved with his wife and children in the summer of 2016 to Greensboro, NC and Gabriel continue to work with monolingual and bilingual children with an array of speech and/or language difficulties.
Robin Peterson, SLP-A received her associate in applied Science, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from Fayetteville Technical Community College.
She graduated with honors in 2002. A native Of North Carolina, Robin was born in Wilmington. She spent her elementary school years in Lexington, NC, and her middle and high school years in Southern Pines, NC. Working with children has always been her passion. Since graduation, she has worked with children who are experiencing various speech and language impairments in homes, daycares, and schools. Robin currently lives in Jamestown with her daughter and granddaughter.
Crystal “Lana” Jackson, SLP-A, Lana was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
She worked as a teacher in private schools working with children with Autism. the Virginia public school system, Virginia school for deaf and blind and later established her company Lana’s Little hand's daycare.
Later Lana relocated to Charlotte, NC, with her children. Lana graduated from CCCTI with her degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistance. She has knowledge in ASL and panish. Lana has a passion to work with children and families to achieve their goals one step at a time.
