Annie Rendon CCC-SLP, Owner/Lead Therapist is the owner and lead therapist of Express Communication Therapy.
Annie grew up in Barranquilla Colombia speaking only Spanish and completed her bachelor's degree in Barranquilla Colombia. She received her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at Long Island University in 2009 and has experience working in public schools, preschools and in the home setting.
She speaks Spanish to her own child. Annie specializes in bilingual development and holds a bilingual extension certificate. She enjoys working with children with developmental and language delays; speech and children on the autism spectrum.


Gabriel Keogan, MS, CCC-SLP, received his Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Brigham Young University in 2007 and completed his Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at California State University East Bay in 2009.
Being passionate about working within the local bilingual community, he practiced in a Spanish-English bilingual position in Concord, CA in a school with a student body that was over 85% Hispanic/Latino. Gabriel moved with his wife and children in the summer of 2016 to Greensboro, NC and Gabriel continue to work with monolingual and bilingual children with an array of speech and/or language difficulties.

Debra Beeferman Debra Beeferman, MSP CCC-SLP.
Debra Beeferman MA, CCC-SLP. Received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from St. John’s University in New York. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association to provide speech and language services to your little one! She is passionate about helping children learn to communicate with their family members, friends, and in the community.

Nicole Montgomery Student clinician
Nicole recently joined the Express Communication team in the fall of 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of MS and has an Elementary Education teaching license. She has over 15 years experience with the special needs population. Nicole enjoys being outdoors, living a healthy lifestyle, and spending time with her twin boys and husband in her spare time.

Dr. George Jerman, EdD, MS CCC-SLP, is an educator, scholar-practitioner, and speech-language pathologist. His undergraduate studies were completed at Elizabeth City State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Pre-Professional Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Dr. Jerman completed his graduate studies at Western Carolina University. While at Western, he received an advanced Master of Sciences degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and completed additional graduate coursework and clinical training in Severe-Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Jerman also holds a Doctor of Education in Executive Educational Leadership.
Aside from work, Dr. Jerman enjoys good music, cooking, spending time with his family, watching and attending sports events, and coaching and training young men and women to excel as scholar-athletes in football, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field.
